Tadzio

Tazio is a French-born artist based in Paris whose work challenges the boundary between photography and painting. Rather than documenting reality, his images approach questions of time and space through a painterly lens.

In his architectural series, structures are rendered abstract, with form nearly dissolved into gradations of grey. These works blur the distinction between mediums, transforming photography into something closer to abstract painting.

Tazio’s practice is a continuous exploration of the essence of “showing” in art. Through ambiguous and fragmented imagery, he invites viewers to engage with the world in new and uncertain ways.
